I'm glad you are raising these issues. I started circling the modern art vortex early in New York and Philadelphia, right out of college decades ago. I'm glad some instincts took over that slowly pulled me away from that scene. It took a lot of self - reprogramming to do it! When I was young, I was impressionable, and witless. A dangerous combo. I have to give my parents much credit for helping me see the light.
