Michael this is unbelievably moving. The music, spellbinding. And your figures - the light spilling out from the broken places - wow. I agree we can communicate with those who have died - this idea of the light being that connection is beautiful. Thank you for sharing this.
I am floored by your Puccini painting…. lusting actually. In the Versilia news last week while in Tuscany, there was a write up on the renovation of his home on Lago de Tore(which I called Lago de Puccini)
When I had to take a break from Pietrasanta “society” of musical beds and high earthy emotions in many languages, I would take my Uno Fiat and stay at the only Hotel there, 1983, very in need of TLC, damp and unkempt, iffy bedding, and spend the night after dining and walking alone around the shore of the lake always with his music in my head. I would get my balance back and return the 20 minute drive next mid day to the dank cold studio of no beauty, except my work. 🎻 em
Gorgeous art, it’s so perfectly descriptive of grief. It’s a strange serendipity to open substack today and find this; I had a dream of a lost loved one recently and have been undergoing a sort of fresh mini grieving. Thank you for sharing this, it’s comforting and I hope your friend is okay.
Yes, and thank you for again for this amazing imaginarium of artistry that YES does express what I and many others are beginning to understand...YOU NEVER DIE! As long as some one still believes you are a part of their life and they love you. You are immortal and part of LOVE or UNITY CONSCIOUSNESS. This includes the COSMIC brothers and sisters and ALL LIFE! Can't wait to see your artistry embracing the beauti of cosmic beings across the Galaxy! But that is an all together different but AMAZING story to tell in art and language. LOVE YOU MICHAEL, FROM MY HEART to YOURS, Sharon

Thank you for such a thoughtful and heartfelt comment Trudi!
It really touched me. Those pictures. You can feel the grief and longing.
