Yeah! Actually I think I understand what yiu write, in my own way. But there are no words really when SEEing your Art. They are TOO beauiful. I can write words, but why the Art work then! Haha...(A now famous Indian artist told me this once! Long back...)

They are JUST too beautiful. Yeah, I too SEE more, after seeing your art works for long time, as I shared before! It is higest clarity, beauty, stabs of FeelS...endless too...like for me, Indian Classical mysic and dance. By best exponents...

Just some words. I love and enjoy your art works. These are also a great new findS! Thsnk you SO much!

Thank you for commenting Narendra. I was so pleased before linking to the Newberry Color Theory book, to see your wonderful video review of it! Thank you for that too!

Michael, beautiful work. Always transcendent work from you.

The one star ratings are hilarious. Reminds me of reading a collection of one star ratings about our national parks.

Here's one

Haleakala National Park "Do yourself a favor and just google 'pretty sunrise' and save yourself the disappointment".

You're in good company.

Those are exquisite. Almost enough to tempt me into trying pastels again (I made SUCH a mess on previous attempts! 🤣)

I think I need to read your book now. I have a question, though - a Kindle edition is available, but my Kindle doesn't support colour - is it worth buying, or should I hold out for an actual book? (I am *all* for actual books, but live in Argentjna, where Customs have a habit of impounding parcels and demanding extortionate fees for their release.) Thanks.

Thank you for the compliment and thinking about getting the book. The Kindle in black/white won't work for understanding the color theory. Have you tried the free kindle app for phone or your computer? It should show color perfectly.

“ Squinting is the most magical, and natural tool for the visual artist, bar none” This is how you also look at stars Michael! You can make out nebula structure by squinting a certain way. By looking at them from the side of your peripheral vision you can stop heavenly bodies you otherwise would miss. It’s amazing how our eyes work in such wondrous ways. ✨ 🌟 💫 ⭐️

I love your artwork. These are beautiful. And I get the whole squinting to see vibrations theory.

These are gorgeous pastels, Michael. I always unfocus my eyes rather than squint, but perhaps I’ll have to give squinting a try.

It will be interesting if it makes a significant difference. I have never unfocused my eyes before, so I will try that, ha, not sure how to though!

Let me know how it goes if you get the hang of it. I keep trying to squint and look at things but it is more comfortable to let my eyes drift in and out of focus and I keep reverting to that. Perhaps with some practice the squint would become just as natural!

Oh the squinting is not natural at all, and counter intuitive! But the result is magical. Sometimes after doing it intensely it takes my eyes about 15 minutes to adjust to normal sight, but I’m 68 at my eyesight is great! I’m doing my most subtle work now.

I’m going to try it next time.
