I currently have whittled down many of the alternative and main stream media and superficial sources of information myself Michael. They have begun to be the same and repeat themselves. and just like bead art and paint by numbers painting they are not what they should be or at the depth which can enlighten us in any way. They do not really go deep enough down the "rabbit hole" to discover the knowledge they do not know they know, as David Icke would say. In his latest book REVEALED he describes what we are as "pure awareness" and describes how we get stuck in the 3D computer game and get lost in a trap that has been created for that purpose. Now I am busy wrapping my Consciousness. around that as David like you is never satisfied until he knows more that he knows and can describe it as a true story teller and word wizard. You are like him with your art and Jane Evershade from Renaissance explained how important art is to us now so we can obtain a frequency that can take us out of this 3D reality and to a completely new level of Being! I thank you for your gifts and the perfection you cultivate through your art from your spirit and deep heart.
Good words Michael. I battle with that energy drain all the time. It is so easy to get lost scrolling or escaping by binge-watching shows that leave you empty in the end. It is especially tough if you are using those things as a means to escape from the onslaught of anxieties and pressures you face every day. Curating your media consumption and putting a cap on it is definitely a necessity in a culture where it is all pervasive.
Unfortunately, it is often easier said than done. That damned algorithm never wants to let you go, so it keeps hitting you with every dopamine hit it can manufacture.
Frater, good unpacking of your experiences with media manipulation. Yeah, no easy answers and yes it triggers dopamine levels. Ha, when the need to take walk is a sign one’s had enough? 😀
"...it’s essential that I care about what happens to at least one character in a film; if I don’t care about any of the characters, I immediately turn it off." AGREED.
WOW. Wow. Absolutely stunning. I love the thought of your joyful exuberance putting on those final finishing touches, surrounding yourself with only things that bring joy. This is beyond gorgeous.
Our biggest challenge is time, isn’t it? It’s finite, when we feel infinite. Love the art Michael. It signifies for me escaping from the confines of the clock. ⏰ Beautiful in every way possible! ♥️🤗
