I discovered an author that is a pleasure to read, read about six or seven in the last few months, M. C. Beaton. I am hooked on the Agatha Raisin Mysteries and Hamish MacBeth Mysteries ( several have been adapted to TV via the BBC and Sky). Wonderfully quirky characters, quickly paced, fallible romances, and beautiful tied up threads at the end—amazing how satisfying that is.

I have been taking mental notes to tie up every thread in my non-fiction.

What is also interesting, is that her two main series (mentioned above) many of the books have over 1K 4 1/2 star reviews and top prices in the Kindle editions. I was hoping to get an anthology for like $3.99. But I am also delighted that her legacy is thriving.
