Soulscape 12, Art Awakens the Best in Us
From My Upcoming Book: Soulscape – The Role of Art in Our Lives
Kritios and Nesiotes, Nike of Samothrace, 190 BCE, Louvre Museum, Paris, France. WC.
The Nike of Samothrace awakens our best by embodying momentum and beauty. She soars above the waves as a dynamic figurehead, originally, she was set at the bow of a ship. With wings spread wide and billowing sensual folds, her pose symbolizes freedom, triumph, and the exhilaration of flight. As a winged goddess of victory, she inspires us to embark on epic journeys and pursue greatness with confidence!
Art is a window to our future.

IN SYNC... I am working my way through a new story .. The Winged Victory is the focal and photo. Mine is about first site of her magnificence when I was 10 years old. Left alone to comb the galleries with my 12 year old sister. Summer 1961. What a time.......
This is so beautiful. I can even dream the beautiful face back into place, and imagine the magnificence of her beauti and grace extending to a DIVINE FEMININE expression of compassion and fearless determination.
