Newberry, San Onofre Green, pastel
Be open to change, and change opens new horizons.
Today's edit: I took a so-so pastel drawing that had a greenish tint and rethought the color concept. I chose an atmosphere of green, yellow light, and purple darks. The green created a particular mood, a kind of twilight feeling, and the image seemed to request black accents. A feeling of darker depths, perhaps submerged emotions under a green sea? I won't forget this feeling nor the color scheme that created it. At some point I will have a project that gives me a deja vu feeling recalling this mood, and I will use this color scheme. In a very important way, this experiment extended my emotional and technical possibilities. Be open to change, and change opens new horizons.
