My friend
did a wonderful video review (4-min) of my art tutorial book, The Art Studio Companion. Near the end she kindly quotes my closing remarks:Paint What You Love. Manet was suffering from a variety of ailments in his last years, but he painted sixteen wonderful small florals. My favorites of his. It was just for his love of painting. Painting what you love resonates.
“Be Super Kind to Yourself. Creativity is fragile. Be the kindest, most loving person in the universe to your creative self.
Honored Petia, thank you.

That’s a lovely reflection Michael. Manet's dedication to his love of painting that in difficult times, so captured in the beauty of his paintings. It speaks volumes about the power of passion for creating.
That is a wonderful review; and well deserved. I concur with her assessment. It is really a beautiful and thoughtful guide. I have been enjoying going through it and then breaking it down and sharing it with my kids. Thank you and congrats on a magnificent accomplishment!
